Common Questions
How is my venue kept anonymous?
Your venue name, address, and contact details are never shared with wholesalers at any stage of the tender. Wholesalers only see an anonymised tender brief with your product list, volumes, and pricing. Your identity is only revealed to the wholesaler you choose to switch to.
What if my current wholesaler is on the platform?
You can optionally exclude your current wholesaler from receiving your tender. This exclusion is enforced silently — they will never know you submitted a tender or that you excluded them.
How long does the process take?
Submitting your product list takes around 15-20 minutes. Once submitted, the tender runs for 7 days. After that, you can review bids and switch immediately. Most venues go from submission to switch within 10 days.
Is there a cost to venues?
No. LiquidMarket is completely free for venues. Our revenue comes from wholesaler subscriptions and a commission on successful switches — the venue never pays a penny.
What does a wholesaler subscription include?
An annual subscription gives wholesalers access to all tenders in their configured coverage area. They receive full anonymised briefs, can submit competitive bids, and win new venue accounts through the platform.
Can I upload my invoice instead of entering products manually?
Yes — you can upload a PDF or image of your current invoice. This helps verify your pricing data and ensures the tender is based on accurate figures. Our product catalogue also makes manual entry fast with typeahead search across 2,000+ products.
